Red-tailed Hawk on Cedar

I am honoured to have a resident red-tail that has selected a big oak tree outside my studio window as his perch. When someone comes out the door, he gives a single, shrill keeer-r-r and calmly takes wing, soaring down into the valley. It never ceases to thrill me to look at a flying bird of prey.
